Social Networking.

Are you looking for some good social media blogs to read? Look no further!

Okay, first lemme introduce myself.

Am Sagar Satra, 18 male (let's not be racist), co-author of this beautiful blog, learning Engineering from Shah and Anchor Engineering college.

Well I think that's enough for introduction things!

So as it's TALKATIVE TUESDAY, my today's topic will be SOCIAL NETWORKING. Hope you guys like it.

Social networking is the rage of this age. Social networks are formed when people sharing certain interests including hobbies, religion, politics, etc., coalesce into groups or communities.

In modern times it refers more to online communities because this is where most social networks tend to exist. To facilitate such social networking, there are many websites. These social networking sites include Facebook, instagram, YouTube, Google+, MySpace, Orkut, Twitter, Fropper, etc. Such sites help people to keep in touch with each other and also connect with long lost friends from school and college.

Social networking comes in handy when one needs a job. We can use our contacts to learn of good job opportunities. Advertisers also have found social networking sites a useful tool to get feedback on their products as people tend to believe their peers’ opinions on certain products rather than an advertisement. This has led them to use such sites to promote their products.

The most common disadvantage of social networking sites is addiction. Often users of these sites get addicted to it. They spend hours using these sites and it harms their performance in other fields. It causes mental health problems and sometimes it harms their body too. Sometimes users provide their personal information to others which is insecure.
We can see clearly that social networking sites are advantageous only if they are used wisely. Using these sites would be helpful, if users do not spend time there unnecessarily. Wise members never provide personal information to strangers. Use of a tool depends on users. A doctor can operate with a knife and a murderer can kill a person with the same knife.

After all the advantages, the problem that arises is of information overload and security. Social networks, unlike the common media, do not have a pattern as to how much information has to be conveyed and where to draw the line. Too much of information may confuse users. Security might be another area of concern where people can get illegal access to a user’s information. The future of social networking looks very promising but still it has to deal with the problems associated with it.

Let's stop today's topic here.
Happy safe social networking!

Hope you have enjoyed, and if you'd please LIKE and SHARE.
